Problematic Market Pressures, Up and Down

"Rich people are moving in here and raising the prices of land and shelter by two or three times the regular value. It's driving out the less fortunate who cannot afford to establish residency. Not only that, thousands of outsiders are crossing our nation's borders looking for jobs here. They offer to work for very low pay and drag the wage level down, hurting those who have worked here for a long time."

Are those the words of St. George Mayor McArthur?

No. The ominous assessment came from a representative of Jordan, a country bordering Iraq, in a radio interview yesterday.
